Mandurriao National High School is a public secondary school under the DepEd Division of Iloilo City.  It is located in the district of Mandurriao, along Q. Abeto St.; approximately 300 meters from the old Iloilo Domestic     Airport and about 25 meters from Western Visayas Medical Center.  It has a land area of 5,831 square meters housing 49 classrooms;accommodating an average of 2,300 enrollees per school year.    

The school supports the government’s goal for a strong republic by offering quality education with the dedication of around 80 unrelenting and dynamic teachers and the help of non-teaching personnel.  The school is geared toward preparing students to be equipped with the basic skills needed to face the    challenges of the real world in the future.  It offers various basic courses in  communication, livelihood, technology, industrial and agricultural education to help hone the life skills of its learners.  A number of academic and extra-curricular activities in the school also help build students’ self-confidence making them braver to compete globally.

Mandurriao National High School is the only public school in the district that offers secondary education.  It also caters to the needs of the out of school youth, the adults, and working students by offering Alternative Learning System (ALS) program specifically Balik-Paaralan Para sa Out of School Adults (BP-OSA) and Night Classes.

Established in 1970, first as an extension of Iloilo City National High School, Mandurriao National High School is now one of the top performing public high schools in the Division of Iloilo City.  It has continually produced thousands of alumni who have excelled in their various professions, become assets of their respective organizations and who have made MNHS truly proud of.
